What is hi-life?

hi-life’s history is what makes it the reputable brand it is today.

Founded by David Heeley in 1985 in Blackpool the first hi-life office was on Church Street in Blackpool Town Centre. hi-life quickly paved the way in discount dining, being the first on the scene to offer diners a unique discount dining club.

Geographically hi-life originally targeted restaurants in North West of England, spanning from the Lake District to Cheshire. Fast forward a few more years and The Hotel Club launched in the 1990s, was listed as a Ltd company in 2000 then was sold by the founder to James Tolland in 2006. hi-life announced it’s partnership with Telegraph Subscriber Dining Club in 2011 which ran until 2014.

In 2016 hi-life joined the Dining Group where in 2017 it was re branded and changed from a ‘2 for 1’ offer to ‘20% off total bill including drinks, 7 days a week’.
